ABOUT HIS LOVE MINISTRY
His Love Ministry began in 1982 as a music evangelistic ministry, reaching out into the community through Grace Fellowship Church in Kent, Washington. Inge Schultz participated in numerous outreach concerts throughout King and Pierce County in Washington State performing and sharing the message of the gospel through music and the word of God. The ministry branched out on its own as a husband and wife team with an emphasis on evangelistic outreach. However, the vision within Ted and Inge's heart was to reach the homeless through the experience gained through public outreach. The ministry name was created through the realization of Inge's salvation experience. Inge states, "the reason why I got saved was because I experienced His love for me. In other words, His love revealed my human condition." Inge found His love to be profound in that God is faithful to deliver and save anyone. The ministry began chapel services at the Bread of Life Mission in Seattle, Washington. The Bread of Life Mission became the heart and soul of His Love Ministry. Ted & Inge's desire to support the Bread of Life Mission has been ongoing for over 20 years. Inge comments, "sharing the gospel message is a heart felt experience of God's love working through us to touch others." This is done by being completely honest of one's own weakness, and understanding human nature and its frailty where one must place their trust in God and allow His grace to do the work within each individual. Today, His Love Ministry is the very idea and meaning of its statement in that His (God's) love ministers to all who would receive His love. Inge's acknowledgment of God's love is a reminder that "His Love" does not change, it is ever lasting and present in a chaotic world. Individuals are changed by the effect of God's spirit on their personal life. Thus, as we draw near to God, we are being changed into the image of God from glory to glory as is stated in II Corinthians 3:18.
The current CD project Inge has been working on now has a new title "Send the Light." The album is now nearing completion and soon will be available. It is Inge's hope and desire to help the homeless with this project by donating a percentage of the proceeds to the Bread of Life Mission in Seattle, Washington. CD's will also be available through the Bread of Life Mission. The music on this CD testifies of God's love and grace that resonates through the vocals in up lifting the soul towards heaven.
